I teach 11- to 12-year-olds, young people who are already quite stressed despite their young age. This school year I gave this tool to my students. In the young people's evaluations afterwards, I read things like, "Now I have an EHBS (First-Aid-By-Stress-Moment) at hand" or "I'm going to use 'The ABCs of de-stressing' before my soccer game at the weekend, when I have a fight with my mom, before a difficult test, when I'm in pain, ..."
They know the wording by heart and spontaneously use "The ABC of De-stressing" at times when their brain goes into stress. I get positive feedback from parents; some of them start using it themselves.
