EMDR: This is the most well-known trauma help method. Live The Connection is much more than trauma help. It changes the trauma-related programming in your brain. You not only remove the charge, you install new, virtuous impulses. As a result, you create your life. With LTC you also de-stress relationships that don't involve trauma, relationships that just don't work out. With LTC you can change your whole life experience, which is much more extensive than removing trauma. It has an enormous added value because you let your subconscious solve the traumas itself. The knowledge gained from EMDR is included in the LTC connection processes.
Meditation is perfect for realizing and practicing connection to all levels of consciousness. Meditating is much easier when your brain is connected. This is why people use LTC connection processes prior to meditation. Meditation does not purposefully change your impulses, even though it can have that wonderful side effect. Live The Connection works from connection to love as the ground of the processes. Connection with "all that is" is the ground of all transformations realized with LTC. Where meditation aims at 'contact with your higher consciousness,' LTC ensures that this contact is not thwarted by the automatic self-protection previously installed in your life. LTC also uses connection with love as the ground of the processes.
Mindfulness: Your subconscious impulses take you out of "the now. To stay naturally mindful and have mindfulness training actually deliver, it is helpful to install the impulse to be present here-and-now into your automatic behavior. LTC makes being mindful much easier.
Heart Coherence: This is a method aimed at restoring the connection between heart and head. The wisdom of the heart is consulted, the power of gratitude, care and appreciation are trained. Using breathing and attunement to heart qualities calms your stress response. It is very effective! It does not resolve the origin of the stress, you do that with Live The Connection.
Psychological counseling: This type of counseling helps you gain insight into your behavior and teaches you how to adjust it. You get to know yourself better and that helps to understand your own reactions and those of another. However, insight and understanding are insufficient to perpetuate change in the long term. You relapse into old patterns because the impulses have not changed. All forms of psychological counseling benefit from adding control of the subconscious. By the way, LTC goes even further, you even learn to control your body reactions. You learn this around month 8 in the course.

To dissolve the stress reactions, patterns and structures that have been leading you astray since childhood requires several months of intensive work. You eventually change your conditioning from "I'm not okay" to "I'm happy to be here," "My contribution is valuable," "I count.
In one year you will learn everything you need to get yourself on the right track. The tools you learn can be used for life, in every situation that presents itself. You do need a year to effectively use the tools you learn. That is what the weekly practical evening (or morning) is for. You get support, you follow yourself and it becomes a good habit.
Often the feeling that it wouldn't be for you has to do with resistance to persevere. If you have the impression that it is "not for you," you usually need a coach for a while to give you the confidence that you are solid enough to move yourself forward.
We both have in us: I can do it myself and I need help. One moment you need confidence that you can do it yourself, the next moment that you can ask for help and not have to do it all by yourself.
Depending on what you learned to build on as a child, either is difficult. Pathway Breakthrough provides both help among participants and counseling.

What your parents did can cause shame well into old age. If they did not behave correctly, you may have been labeled as a child. Everyone did their best to "make it somewhat normal," but the social rejection may linger deep in your subconscious reactions. With everything you learn during Trajectory Breakthrough, you will get out from under this. Your parents' misbehavior doesn't have to keep weighing you down.
Medication affects chemical reactions in the body. It adds substances that make you feel less, or that trigger certain reactions in the body.
There are two major drawbacks to medication: it does not take into account the body's natural feedback mechanisms, and because it involves foreign substances, it adds physical stress. The natural feedback system makes it easy to become addicted to medication.
Foreign substances must be disposed of; often they burden the body and mind.
During Pathway Breakthrough, you continuously remove stress (and underlying trauma) allowing the body's self-healing ability to resume its work on its own. By allowing the body to steer from love, deep well-being is created. And by helping and directing yourself, self-confidence arises.
It is quite possible that through pain your subconscious is alerting you to an inner conflict, something that is not okay in yourself or in relationship with others. Pain is a signal that something is not right. It can be physical, emotional, relational or social. Your body lets you know that you need to do something, that action is needed to move forward "in harmony.
A lot of stress symptoms end up causing pain or discomfort. Once these stress symptoms are acknowledged and the underlying trauma is removed, the pain can resolve on its own.
Although the pain is felt physically in some place, the cause need not be physical. By "decoding" the signals from your subconscious - which you learn during Pathway Breaking Through - you can find what the cause is and what you need to do to resolve the pain. You learn how to put your self-healing ability back to work on its own accord.
This is where self-sabotage comes into play. You learn to resolve that one. Self-sabotage occurs because you expect that the worst that has happened to you will happen again. This keeps your alarm system on. You put yourself under constant stress, so to speak. Because you cannot live with that, you inwardly give up on ever getting better. You refuse to hope anymore. And in so doing, you put yourself in a fix.
During Pathway Breakthrough, you learn to resolve these self-sabotages.
Most times when you need help, it is not there. Real help is a combination of a good method that you can apply yourself at any moment and expert support when you need it. During Trajectory Through Breaking you get all the tools you need to break through old pain and old patterns.
You learn to de-stress, which is necessary to return to some normal thinking and feeling. You also learn to reprogram your brain so that you automatically start doing things you do want to do.
Because of difficult situations in your childhood, you have mostly developed conditioning to avoid difficult situations. As a result, you don't get to what makes you feel virtuous.
The situations we grow up in seem normal, but often there is a lot of tension stuck in them. With the tools you learn, not only will you get the tension out of your body and your relationships, you will also make sure that you naturally move in the right direction.
Specific to this track is that you resolve self-sabotage and undo the effects of boundary crossing on your life. Instead of carrying the scars of your family in a destructive way, you truly dissolve them. There comes peace and tranquility in your body, in your life.

All the problems that a person can have have have already been discussed within my practice and during the workshops that I give over the last few years.
It may sound disrespectful to say, but you have already survived the worst. You are still here. Now it's a matter of cleaning up the consequences of what happened earlier in your life.

Knowing and solving are two different things. You can know a lot about yourself and have done a lot of enlightening therapy, but the rotten feelings and troublesome behavior don't go away permanently with that.

Although widespread even among social workers, this statement is not true.
Until 2000, virtually all psychiatrists, psychologists and educators taught that trauma triggers stick to the alarm center in the brain (amygdalae) and remain attached to it for the rest of your life.
Although a lot of "spontaneous healings" happened, there was little or no research on them. How trauma occurs, we know. How to resolve trauma remains a quest for many.
In 2000, Dr. Karim Nader discovered that trauma triggers can be resolved in animals.
